NEED HELP ASAP!
Ladies and Gents,
Here'* the scoop. I have a 2001 Bonny SSEi with the 17" chrome rims. I'm looking to purchase 18" Chrome rims but am on a timeline. They are 5 on 4.5 which I believe is 5X114.3??? Anyway, I'm obviously getting new tires to accomodate the 18" rims.....will they fit is the question? What does the offset mean? Etc....please help..no clue on any of this.
Thanks!
Jason

Well, 4.5 inches is equal to 114.3 mm.
I think the offset is the distance between where the wheel touches the rotor and the inner lip of the wheel. You need to have the correct offset or it could be trouble.
With an 18" wheel is there any room for a tire? Good luck if you hit a pothole.

I thought all of the wheels were 5x115 I might be wrong though. As for tire sizes check out this site. http://www.c5-corvette.com/tirecalc.htm If put in your current size on the left where it says Tire A and just change the wheel size of Tire B to 18 it will give you just the tires for 18" otherwise you will get a listing from 12" to 22".
