95 bonny Se,,,, cat-back / intake
sup all,, ive been debating on getting a cat-back system in my car but im not sure what company to go with.. i was aiming toward a flowmaster but i hear it sounds kind of ricy and i want it to have that rawish sound to it. also i wanted to get a cold air intake but im not sure where i can get the pipe and not have to *** around with anything. oh and also where i can get a molding for my door panel becuase i bought my car w/o it and supposedly its around $400 with parts..
thanx all

I suggest a Flowmaster. It makes your v6 sound deap and throughty like a v8, especially with a hi flo cat. If your looking for a CAI look into the links at the top of the page. And as for your moulding have you checked at any junk yards??? Good place to look first.

I suggest Dynomax or Flowmaster 40 series.
If you take the resonator out you will probably get a little rappy at times (rice fart) which I have first hand experience in. I don't know much on hi-flow CAT'*, unless it involves removing or "punching" it.

...
so ill get the flowmaster 40 delta flow muffler but according to the papers its $400 and im not sure if its only for the muffler or with pipes ... and if its w/o the pipe should i get one or just keep the original one?
btw yest i went to the junkyard and there are no 95' bonnevilles so im stuck on that part too.
what if i bought some bootleg brand from like pepboys pipe for the intake and then just ordered a k&n filter, would that be the same or should i spent like $300 for the k&n one..
thanx again

if you got the pipe and filter that would probably work just as good. get mandrel bent pipe and try to get aluminum or get some heat paint so the pipe dosent heat up. i have the same engine and stuff as you and you should probably try this: when you go w/ the cai, chop the front of your stock air box and lead the pipe and filter into that. it'* a free heat shield.
