Any off the shelf tail pipes for the magnaflow?

Default Any off the shelf tail pipes for the magnaflow?
Hi all,

I just bought a magnaflow 12265 with 2.5 in/outlet and have searched for days to see if there is anything on the shelf that would fit. I'd rather not go with the stock 2.25 tail pipes if I can help it, but it may be my only choice. Does anyone know if the Firebird 2.5 tail pipes can be used? What year applies?

Here'* a list of exhaust tips from Summit Racing that will fit a 2.5" pipe.

Tips are no problem. I need the two tailpipes from the muffler.

Any custom exhaust shop should be able to weld up what ever you need. Check what you have local. I go to a local shop here and they bend, cut, and weld what ever is needed.

I agree with Dan. Just get an exhaust shop to make you new tail pipes.

I also did a little bit more searching and the Firebird'* tail pipes stock were 2 1/4".

All I can think of is go to a place like autozone, and pick out adapters, that'* all I can think of.

Here'* a couple of tailpipes that are 2 1/2" for Firebirds, but would probably be cheaper just to get an exhaust shop to make you one.

Thanks guys. Here'* why I asked for 'off the shelf'. Mr. Muffler, Waldorf, MD for 2 tail pipes, 2 hangars, 3 clamps = $286. Two pipes from Rockauto + shipping = $60
