To have the car die instantly sounds a little funny for running out of fuel... I would think it would sputter a bit, but anything'* possible. I hope it'* as simple as gas. Keep us posted.

Believe me..I'm not sure by any means.
Most likely it'll have another time or two before it'* under control. Hardest part of an intermittent problem is replicating.

Hoorrrrrayyyy
The condition duplicated. Yes.. I stalled at a light after hard braking. It appears my car mysteriously doesn't like being under 3 gallons and getting whiplash when trying to stop.
I put some food in the tummy and can't replaicate again.

All is well until you drop the nose the ground stopping.
Who knows why the baffles aren't working like they should. Maybe I'm being too rough at the stop or the baffles broke loose when I zipped over that retread.

Good news...I haven't had a repeated stalling since keeping the tank over 1/3 full.
Up next is checking the torque on the knock sensors. I may have skipped the torque spec when installing...IF I even took them out. Anyone had experience getting to the back sensor?
