Which Spark Plugs?
Okay, i have always been partial to AC/Delco rapid fires, but the local store says they do not carry them. They have these new Iridium plugs but i have never heard of them. Some people are running NGK . . . So, what are the best plugs to run?
if this helps,
i will be moving to a 180 deg thermo with my 3.4 pulley.

With a smaller pulley you will want to upgrade to at least one stage cooler plugs. It'* cheap and easy to just get a set of copper core NGK V-power plugs for such an application. The Iridiums are made to last for those who don't want to change plugs a few times a year.
1 stage cooler NGK plugs for our cars are TR55'* and 2 stages cooler are TR6. I am personally running TR6'* because of the summer heat and I don't mind changing back to TR55'* in the winter. My car probably doesn't need the TR6'* year round (until I upgrade the valvetrain), but the July heat here in northern Illinois can get suprisingly hot.

I am changing my plugs on the weekend, have a stock 1997 SSEi - no mods. The car normally runs hot and I live in Indiana where is does get hot in the summer.
What spark plugs would everyone recommend I put in the car? Should I go with ACDelco, NGK or Champion? Someone here mentioned that the TR55 NGK plugs run cooler, would that be a good choice? Any ideas would help me.
Thanks a bunch,
Andrew

here'* somethin funny...
last weekend (or was it two ago??) when i did the stuffs on my car (includin plugs), i used the delco iridiums, and wouldn't you lknow it? stamped on it on the metal base, in small letters: NGK
so i wouldn't worry too much about using them over NGK'* , oh, and they've been workin great... no problems here whatsoever...

I like the autolite 103 or 104'*, cheap and easy to gap. However I change my plugs often and like to pull them for inspection.
The iridium are nice but pricey and you have to watch while gapping that you dont nic anything?
