As far as the members of this Forum are concerned, from their actual experiences, not hearsay from another Forum, INTENSE has much better customer service.
The ZZP vs INTENSE debate has raged on in the past. Sometimes getting somewhat bitter and combative.

speaking of battles-lol
It all depends on how far you want take your car, IMHO in you want to push your to the limit go with ZZP (turbo kit being the reason). And as far as a trans, ZZP (cerified) has more experience than Intense (for the moment, but from what I hear Tim King is doing Intense tranny'* and he does good).
If your staying */Ced either would be a good choice, but I would recoomend an XP cam with some 1.7rrs . The idle ROCKS!!! http://www.humperformance.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=33
If you want to hear an XP, or an XP with 1.7s Sorry I had too-lol
It used to be...back in the day, that if you wanted to go fast you needed BOTH companies, man I miss those days.

If possible I'd like to put this debate on hold until we find out what year motor is being built here.
Til then this thread is aiming for Opinion thread that could spiral out of control Both vendors sell good parts, and members here have had good experiences with both.
Thanks

Thank you...
And once we do know the information...it would be best if we take an unbiased path to help out.
Meaning that if both vendors have the exact same part and there is no material difference except for price we can point that out.
I'd like to see us help out as a group and not have this continue the way it was heading toward an opinion based determination. When I choose parts for my car, I research and choose based upon my goals. We should try to help this thread originator in the same way since we all know where it could lead if we let our biases post for us.

In the end, you have to decide who to buy from. Again, I chose Intense because of their excellent customer service, and they seem to have better quality products than ZZP. If I may use an example, look at the pulleys. The Intense pulley is of a higher quality than the ZZP. It even has a "better fit and finish" with the tapered screws. I'm not knocking ZZP, after all, I did buy their puller and tensioner, but for the good stuff, Intense is the only way to go for me. Well, thats my .02 worth on the topic. By the way, why does the ZZP pulley have the extra holes?
