Taking in hot air will be a bit of a problem. Here is what I did. It'* just an example and should give you an idea. I also took a flexible cloths dryer hose and ran it threw the area in front of the radiator. It takes a bit of work, but it'* not to bad. I sealled the box and I get soem forced air. My incomming air is about 10 deg above ambiant air. Not sure how much forced air I get, but at a stand still I get about 6 to 7 pounds of boost. I floored it a few times doing 80 and pinned the gauge over 10.
Hope this helps a bit

That filter won't help you achieve laminar flow and velocity. And the accordian tube isn't helping you either. Then there'* the heat problem already mentioned. I think your stock airbox un-gutted with a paper filter would be better.

woops! Forgot I had poasted.
It was meat as a joke. I know its not optimal, but when I got the car it had nothing but broken plastic pices of what used to be the filter box. I had that setup in the garage from an f body (Trans Am). & just nedded something to filter the air so that the car could be moved. You guys can be shure that *** soon as the car is ready for the road it will get a good intake setup *** well as exhaust & a good tunup.
