Man after hearing all this I am glad I went with the DHP PCM. Less than five minutes to change and worked right the first time. It rocks!!!!!!!!!

What all does the Superchips do? Wondering for comparison to DHP.
DHP removes speed limiter, allows tranny to skip shifts, increases line pressure in tranny, increases shift rpm, and changes fuel tables for HP. It feels like it made as much difference in my car as the pulley did. I believe Dave said it was only about 10hp but seat of the pants sure feels like more.

The superchip does not remove the speed limiter but I don't mind cuz I don't go that fast. The transmission shifts real firm now with the chip added. The acceleration is much quicker, the transmission downshifts quickly for acceleration when i want to punch it while driving. It is definately noticeable in the car and i have no complaints.

So it pretty much does the same things. I wasn't sure if the Superchips did some of the tranny things or not. It seems like a lot of the Chip companies were just doing enough to give you a slight seat of the pants feel and that was it. Just depends on preference then. I wondered. I went with the DHP because of the club I am in. STLCGP which is GTP'* and they have seen some great improvements and I definitely agree with them.

I'm sure dhp works better than mine but it wasn't available for my car. So I went with superchip because jet seemed to rely too heavily on getting a thermostat while superchip didnt require any mod. Also, superchip added more HP than jet.

Still no probs with mine. Amazing every day. Wouldn't trade for anything, unless the claims were really impressive. I think Jet did a great job squeezing the go out of these things.
