I'm not bashing. If anything I commend them for fixing a mistake. It proves their commitment. Taking such a loss to fix a defect such as that can KILL some small companies.
No where did I attack them or anyone here.

So far from what we have seen of the members here dealing with Intense, the problems have not been there.... It looks as every customer here has been very satisfied with their purchase and or install, with next to nothing for problems or issues...
I also want to add that when you start to modify any car or truck, you take on the liability that something may break or be damaged... If I was to get an LSD and say the NA'd 3800II in my car was making 300Hp, Say I had made it 6 months on the LSD that I purposely beat the tar out of, and bam, diff and related guts pop out of the case and hit the ground... Would I be blaming Intense for a car that I modified, with the knowledge that there is always a possibility that something will give... When you modifiy anything you accept reponsibility that something may go wrong... If I modded my 139,000mile 3800II and a rod went through the block would I be able to blame GM for a faulty rod?
Same goes for Bills Modded SSEi, the diff end of the trans case fractured... He had modded his car pretty well.. Does he blame GM... He accepted responsibility for his actions as he knew it would happen sooner or later with the added power he was making...

Before this turns into an Intense-ly contested topic, let'* sum it all up by saying Intense'* products seem to be pretty solid and their customer service is top notch. If one of their parts fails prematurely they'll own up to it and help you out with a replacement. I have an O2 spoof that seemed to be fried after three months of use, and Scott was ready to replace mine with a new one if I would send it to him. I, too, got my Standard PCM just days after sending out my core unit to be flashed. They've always been quick to answer questions about performance, and they make more of an effort to promote the 3800 community than any other vendor I've encountered.
We may seem like we're pretty quick to toot Intense'* horn. Well, we are. If you're a customer who tries their products and has a reasonable complaint, they will listen and be quick with a solution. The so-called "horror stories" are usually from people who have made unreasonable demands or placed unjustified blame on Intense'* products. With Intense'* track record for excellent service, you've got to take the stories with a grain of salt. Consider the source of the complaint before you discredit the business. I've probably made my point, and we're not just blowing sunshine in your ear. Performance aside, you won't find better customer service for 3800-related products.
And don't ever listen to Willwren; he get'* cash under the table from Rogue.

Seriously......if we had a poll here for INTENSE customers, I'd say it would come out 100% positive. So why the different attitude on another forum which we won't name? Simple. That forum is owned and sponsored by one of INTENSE'* biggest competitors (notice I didn't say rival).
Which is exactly why we are unsponsored. Our members would never get a fair shake. Vendor'* are recognized on this forum by our member'* experiences. The Vendor remains in our good graces at the discretion of the Admins, based on the feedback of the customers and members here.
And INTENSE remains one of the best. FYI, Rogue offered to give up his Gearhead status when he became INTENSE'* Customer Service Manager. We think so highly of Rogues character, as well as that of INTENSE and Scott Cook, we denied his request. There will never be a conflict of interest.
INTENSE is at the top of my list. Even though they don't support my particular year, I would buy from them in a heartbeat, and I do get a peek behind the scenes occasionally that most people don't get to see, so my opinion and perspective can add to the good experiences of their customers.

Well I would travel that far because me and some friends have always wanted to road trip so they can help me pay for the trip.
I really wouldnt know who to go to If I did get a cam or something because im not a mechanic and probably spelled it wrong.
I figure since these guys have the parts in their car they would know how to install it right. No brainer you know.

Well you're right in one regard: it would be a no-brainer for the Intense crew to put just about any performance parts on your car. They're reputed to do good shop work and get jobs done fairly quickly.

I personally have had a good experience with intense but there are horror stories out there.
Performance is ALWAYS cutting edge. And any time INTENSE went over that edge, they learned from it, fixed it, and made it right. One of the 'former employee'*' intents was to start his own business. What better way than to bash INTENSE?
Nobody on this forum has EVER had a quality or mechanical issue with INTENSE. That'* a pretty good record in my book.
But all i'm trying to say is that there have been some problems posted about some of intense'* products on other forums. These problems come from random people not just competitors.
In the grand scheme of things, these problems are rather small compared to the usual quality service intense provides.
Another thing that is important is DOING YOUR HOMEWORK. Search all the regional forums that have had experiences with ANY of the vendors. Hold people'* opinions that you are more familiar with (i.e. this forum) with more weight but don't forget about the thousands of other people that have bought from the vendor.
Intense is a great company in my opinion, i mean come on 248 WHP out of a n/a series 2? That really raised the bar and you can be sure i'm trying to hunt those numbers down.
*cough*spending 1500 more on engine mods alone this summer*cough*

The guys at INTENSE will do a good job installing whatever you need. But INTENSE has approved installers around the country, they have them listed somewhere on their site.
As far as quality goes, no company turns out a perfect product. Every company that produces a product has some that are defective, dont do what they were supposed to do, or break prematurely. INTENSE seems to be above par in the quality department.
