Free "Mod" for poor guys
If you got 15 minutes of free time and your poor like me heres a free mod you can do right after you read this. You dont even need tools.
If you didnt already know or havent tried yet under your carpet is a bunch of padding.
I think its for sound insulation or something, I dont think it made much of a difference when I took it out. The floors just feel harder now thats all. They say less weight means better MPG too so thats just great.
I figure its about 15 pounds worth of junk.
Front seat with padding already gone
Back seat
A good 15 pounds maybe?

I took this stuff out + the throw carpets + EVERYthing from my trunk and i noticed a little difference. I took off all my moldings/clips too but i'm sure my bondo makes up for that.

Some people actually do that. Especially honda boys.
I actually want my car to be normal and presentable.
Is there any sounddeadening in the door panels?
I just got back from getting food and took it on the freeway and I seriously didnt notice any extra sound. Just the harder floor and extra inch of leg room.

there is some, like maybe 2 sq ft. Not enough for weight, but you don't want the sound they keep out. Seriously, it'll sound like and old truck without the door panel insulation.
