Default Any Suggetions

I'm looking to start upgrading my 03 Bonneville ssei because the warrenty is finnally up and i want to start modding. The isn't much out there or i think there isn't much. I work on cars and sell parts fo a living and i am quite knowledgable but don't know exactly what to do with my L67. I payed 189.00 for a cat back 40 series from flowmasters and k&n kit for 98.00 from my work. next simple step up i believe would be pulley. What is the smallest to go with and what to upgrade when going smaller. I just picked up a usd L67 with bad intake gaskets for 50 bucks. This is the engine i will be building. I can build it just fine, i just don't know what they can take and what not to do. Any tips would be awsome. Any parts needed, i get 10% above cost on anything. Need parts? Most of our cars are fine with the stock exhaust into the 13-seconds on the quarter mile. So don't expect anything but a change in sound from the exhaust.

I agree that Techinfo should be your first stop. If you have any questions after that, feel free to ask them here.

If you intend to sell parts on this Forum at a discount to members, you'll have to get Vendor approval from an Admin.

Check out www.INTENSE-racing.com especially the performance packages section.

Default whoops?

i didn't know i had to do that and couldn't do that. :( I have done a lot of research on intense and got many ideas but the main problem is knowing what i can do and can't do with certain mods? ex: 3.4 pulley? what else would i have to do? i definatley check out you other suggstions though.

#1 get a scan gauge if you plan on doing modding.
I'd recommend a Fenderwell Intake (FWI) from Intense. With that you should be able to run a 3.4" pulley, but be sure you're scanning for knock retard. You'll also want a 180 degree thermostat and 1 heat range colder plugs.

Dropping smaller you'd want to upgrade to higher ratio rockers OR get a cam. Get ported exhaust manifolds or better yet, headers if you can afford it including a high flow cat. Keep scanning for KR of course too.

What does the scan guage do? I think it'* to measure the total missfires per minute, but i might be wrong. What about a wideband controller? Other wise whats the next thing you recommend i do. I have a plastic k&n system that supposivly adds 13.5 horse but i don't believe that. Also i just put my flowmaster 40 series delta 2-3/4 cat back on but thats only for sound, and later on it will need to breathe better.

I recommend the Level 1 package from INTENSE for starters.

A scangauge monitors all the sensors in the motor via the PCM and can detect everything from oxygen sensor milivolts to tranny temps, knock retard, timing, etc...
