Slotted for perfomance and durability.

Cross drilled have come a long way but are still considered to wear quickly and develop stress cracks around the holes.

Don't mean to steal threads.. but there'* a debate with a few of my other friends who says slotted and drilled are cosmetics.. and stated name one race car that has them (i.e. F1'* and rally and such.. humm.. I"m not doubting anyone here.. but does anyone have pics of a race car F1 or such that has them? Not talking bout pace cars or sport oriented car we can drive on the road (Porsche and such) )

well remember they also have to take more of a beating than the street cars so they are made just for that specially. The slotted and cross drilled are for the street i suppose they may even have slotted for f-1'* I don't know but the brakes are made for the kind of heat that thoes cars produce while braking I dont think they make em for personal rides It'* pro things i guess also the street slotted rotors are much stronger and dont warp as easy as oem rotors and dont wear as fast f-1 they gotta change em every race (not very cost effective for the everyday person lol)
