if you could calibrate the computer to it. you could the go at a tb and remove the housing for the maf. seen it done on a firebird with the l36 before with good results. he used hp tuners to tune it

You need a tuner to be able to use that maf sensor and there would be little benefit without a larger throttle body.

perhaps make or find a adapter for the ls1 tb? thats the way i saw it but idk if it would work on a fwd l36 idk if there are any differances in the two

looks like they dont know what they are talking about as it only fits the 05 with the 4.6L

wow. then agian with wireing and enough tuneing i guess anything would work. but a ls1 maf would work

That MAF won't work on the Bonneville. That'* for vehicles with an inline-MAF sensor, which your year of 3800 don't have.
P.*. I have that same MAF sensor installed on my 3.5 Aurora!

The blue hose is gone now, they just didn't have any in stock when I ordered before. It didn't need any reprogramming either BTW. But regardless, it wont' work on your car because it has a different MAF setup.

Bigger maf on its own has no real gain, you need a larger throttle body too.
Say a Northstar TB with LQ4 maf 85mm bore
But you need a custom pcm burn (ie Intense) or a programmer like DHP power tuner.
