Now my question is...how the heck can anyone even compete when you have all these special dampening materials that are laser cut no less!
Curious...with the 93 L27...without the strut...how often should the mount be replaced..and would it last longer to get the one with the strut? I feel this odd light grinding when in park on a hill. Wondering if it might be mounts.
And how much did you have to back off the modulator to make this bearable? I remember the vid that was knocking the camera with the RUBBER mount.

My modulator is still maxed out. This car is my toy, not my daily driver (although I've been driving it at least every other day, popped piston be damned).
L27? I expect that mount would last 100k or so. If the rubber is torn, you'll see it. I'm killing these in less than 1k now though.
The new one is holding up well to the abuse. 2000SilverBullet and I did some stress tests on it tonight.

It does shift hard.
As hard as when I had the Transceptor maxed out.
Shadd has it now and has it maxed out because of his trani problems.
I don't think Bill'* tires stopped spinning the whole time we were out for a drive.

This won't fit your 00.
Totally different mount. You have 3 mounts, I have 4. My 'extra mount (92-99) is a torque axis oil-filled mount that damps vibration on the pulley end of the engine.

On a 2k, you're better off putting them between the nut/bolt and mount. Not from the mount to the trans or frame.
