Fram is prolly the worst oil filter you can put on the car
as far as the AirHog is concerned I'd say drop it in. Ran one for nearly 80k miles in my bonne, no complaints. Just clean and oil it every year with the filter recharge kit. If you go through a lot of dirt road travels like myself do it twice a year.

FRAM? Their oil filters consistently place near the bottom of independent lab comparisons, and If I recall, their air filters are worse.
For this reason, I wouldn't buy a product from them, even if it was completely redesigned. The consistently hold down the cheap-priced end of the market. So what kind of quality and quality control do you think they sell?
You bought an air hog (granted in Canadian funds) for nearly twice what I would a K&N drop-in down in the states, and our exchange rate isn't THAT far off.

Yeah Peter, my KN drop in was only $60ish, so $91 sounds high. Frankly, I wouldn't bother with a drop in, you're not going to notice a huge difference, and you might as well spend the moeny on a cone filter and CAI/FWI setup.
