Default pre series intake or early tunned port intake best for turbo

Ok I'm switching my fiero conversion over from SC to a turbo set up and i'm woundering wich intake you guys think would be better suited to a turbo set up. The early 88-90 na intake or the early 90'* aluminum tuned port intake. My thinking is that the tuned port intake makes better lower end wich i won't really need in the fiero. The earlier intake has a large plennum and short runners wich should make it perfect for a turbo set up, but i duno a whole lot about either intake hense this post. also will my SC TB bolt onto either of these and if not wich would be the best to use Thanks in advance.

Why not just gut the */c and use that as the manifold? IMHO it will be a better choice than either of the others. From air flow testing I am doing on a '90 3800 LN3 (turbocharged), the flow is not very well balanced inside a normal n/a manifold due to the air entry on the end, which piles up on the opposite end, and leans the cylinders opposite the inlet end. Force feeding exagerates this effect. I am actually considering looking for a junk */c, or at least the lower section and fuel rail, to make a custom upper plenum. Just my $.02

You might want to check out the latest issue of GM High Tech Performance, theres an article in there about a turbo kitf or the 3.8 (04-05 GP in the article). For their kit, they used a gutted M90 for the intake.

With the Cartuning L67 turbo kit they use a block off plate and take off the snout and rotors. I think that will be your best bet other then a complete custom intake so you can take advantage of the larger '94-'95 L67 TB.

What year is the TB coming from? A '92-'93 TB will bolt to it and a '94-'95 will be too big.

The TB is off a 94 and i have decided to use the TP intake to help my bottom end and help the boost transition. Since it'* going in a fiero i dont' waht the boost to be on and off so to speak.

Then you will have to use the '92-'93 L27/L67 TB or a '94-'95 L27 TB. It is a smaller bore but that is not that important on a turbo setup.
