I love air to air for turbo'* but for blowers I would have to say water. Just thinking of it completely in a mental picture and works

Pretty spending set up. A water based IC is about $1K less. I wonder what the air temperature charge change is like from idle to 60mph?

Hmmmmm.....

The questions that need to be asked is this. How much heat exchange is there with W2A, and A2A. How much will each system weigh, does the added cooling offset the added weight? How much space will each system take up. A2A can be very large

I am working on a A2A adapter plate that will take the place of a W2A intercooler and not require any modification to the LIM that the W2A wouldn't. I am getting the theory down now, then I will take measurements from the car and get the layout figured out.

If I can make the plate easy enough and for less than $150, the whole setup could cost less than $500

I would be very interested in seeing the results. Make sure you have a temp probe inside so you can show the charge temp both on and off.

Could anyone scan a LIM gasket or take a good top down pic with some quick measurements on it?

FIT didn't want to develop the product anymore and caught some bad press with the Aussies.

There'* actually another air to air intercooler by a company called BYE (also from Australia) :
