Flowmaster 40?
What is everyone'* opinion of this muffler? Would it sound good on my car? I'm looking to replace my current turbo muffler that just doesn't have the sound I want. I was gonna go with a flowmaster 80 but I don't wanna replace any of the pipe. Basically I just wanna weld me in a new muffler with some sound. Plus I like the look of my current exhaust and the tip I had installed. If this muffler isn't the one I need anybody have any other suggstions. I want one with single in single out. 2.25 inch pipe.

Uh 40 series is VERY loud, and it might have too little backpressure. The 80 series is what everyone runs here (save some people) and it'* probably a better choice for our engines, a v8 would be right at home with a 40 series though. I think 40 is also "off road use only" kinda like my tail light tint!

* H-Pipe is strongly recommended in all dual exhaust applications.

40 is way too open.....

I would probably get the 80 series, but my only fear is ending up with the duals being off. Like one to far over and that sort of thing, being it will be a custom setup that I will be doing myself.

If you guys have a ruler and common sense you should be able to get the pipes of an 80 series Centered easy. ZZZZZEKE did his on his own, had a shop bend pipe to the right size and bend, and he did it himself. Hit him up, he'd most likely give you his measurements. A tech info wouldn't be bad.
