question with governing on a 2000 bonneville
Ok i am new to this site and i have been fascinated with speed in power in a car. My first question is about the governing. I can go up to 107 and that is when it cuts out. I want to know why it does this and if there is any way to adjust this or anything like this.

Sounds like you don't have the supercharged engine. Your top speed limiter is set in the PCM for 108. Supercharged are typically 128.
A replacement PCM from www.intense-racing.com should fix you right up.

Possible? Yes.
Practical? No.
The most economical method is to sell yours and buy an SSEi.
Second most economical is to transplant the entire engine, trans, PCM and wiring harness from an SSEi into yours.
