Default Rebuilding my Series I */C, HP estimates???

I have everything pretty much finalized on my engine as far as what is going in it. I am putting in a track cam from seriesoneperformance.com and I am getting a competition valve job done on the heads. I already have a cold air intake and I would like to run a */C from a 95 w/smaller pulley and a new chip with a 160 degree thermostat. Also some type of high flow exhaust. Any estimates, let me know!

92 or 93? Putting a 94/95 SC on will more or less require a 94/95 TB as well. Put your sensors in it. And get a Mini AFC 2.2 from ZZP because you will run hella lean without it to richen up the mixture properly. Put your stock 92/93 SC pulley on the M62 and have either an extra SC-to-LIM short bolt or several washersfor an M6 bolt because the bolt closest to the driver on a 92/93 is about an inch longer than the rest. It'* the same size as the rest on a 94/95. I only recommend a 160 thermo if you get a chip that is calibrated for it, otherwise your MPG will suffer by several. Get a 180 otherwise.

You'll get maybe 60 hp if done properly. That'* just a guess, though.

My car is a '92 and I am looking forward to having it up and running. My plan is to get something like a Jet Chip as I used to have one in my old bonneville. Any extra ideas as I would like to clear 300HP if possible?

Jet doesn't offer a chip for a 92, other than a custom burn if you send them the numbers off your PCM.

Consider NOT running the 94/95 SC. The main difference is the rotors. I'm currently in the middle of a transplant. 95 rotors into my 93.

The other thing you should seriously consider is upgrading your heads to accept the 93-95 valvetrain. Especially with what you're planning.

We had a member some time ago that fought this with his 92.

What is the difference between the 92 and the 93-95 heads?

You don't have roller rockers. 93-95 do. There'* at least 5hp there.

could I just get a set of roller rockers from seriesoneperformance or is there a power loss there? And if I do change my heads will I also have to get a different manifold also?

Series1 performance rockers won't bolt to your heads without modification. You're better off getting 93-95 L67 heads, and having THOSE ported. Then bolt stock or higher ratio rockers to them.
