Change the cat first. It'll change your exhaust note. And from your other topic, you probably need to.

Go buy a Corsa system, they have a muffler tuned for the 3.8

Even if they don't have a specific system for your car, buy one close and modify it, the mufflers are amazing.

You will never regrett it. I promise.

50 Series Delta Flow - Three Chamber Mufflers
This is the latest design of the 50 series muffler that utilizes Flowmasters patented "Delta Flow" technology along with an "H-Chamber" to eliminate most all interior resonance and still have that famous Flowmaster sound outside the vehicle. Constructed of 16 gauge aluminized steel and fully mig-welded for maximum durability.

60 Series Delta Flow - Three Chamber Mufflers
The 60 Series incorporates Flowmasters patented "Delta Flow" technology to produce a nice mellow sound for your sport compact car & Truck. A larger diameter tailpipe will create a deeper tone both inside and outside the vehicle. Constructed of 16 gauge aluminized steel and fully mig-welded for maximum durability.

theres also 70 series go with one of those 3 depending on how loud you want, because I was told by willwren the 50'* are loud on the 3.8'* (and he knows what hes talking about) 60 series sounds like it may be alright to me, i might go for one. if I do i'll let you guys know what happens. Also anyone had experience with the 60 and 70 series?

Nothing really sounds "good" on a bonneville. I've come to like my exhaust, but it'* an acquired taste. There are bonnevilles out there with pretty good exhaust, but if your idea of good is a V-8 sound, you'll never get it.

Each person determines what sounds good. A couple years ago when I joined, there were a bunch of people changing their mufflers. After lots of police attention and highway droning some liked it, some changed back or said never again.

Personally if an 80 isn't loud enough for you... My first suggestion would be hearing aids. j/k though.

If the 80 isn't loud enough then you'll need to step it up a bit. I feel the suggestions made so far are very valid.

I'd also ask from seeing your other posts. Do you want to make noise or power? Until I have to change it.. I'm keeping as much of my stock exhaust as possible. Most people don't have a clue that my car isn't a standard issue Grannymobile.
