adjustable modulator problme?????

Default adjustable modulator problme?????

so in installed an adjustable modulator on my bonne today, i cranked it up all the way and it felt a crap load less firm than stock, then i cranked it to the left and it still felt less firm. any ideas?

Switch back and see if things return to normal. Check for any o-rings or gaskets that might be out of place.

If all else fails, return it for a different one. It could be bad out of the box.

well now i found that my one vacum hose connecting onthe modulator to something near the throttle body is broke. so its shifting hard now, will this haurt anythign? and could that be why the adjutable one wasnt doing anythign?

Yes it could. The tranny on the 95 bonneville is mostly vacuum controlled. Just take the bad hose to the local auto parts store and buy a foot of that same size. Cut it to the correct length and you should be good to go.

i know about the hose, but let me explain better, its the "T" connector located under and in front of the throttle body, it broke apart, and the auto stores here dont sell that, so im asking if i could drive it like that until i go to the junkyard?

the "T" connector connects the heat sensor tube and the modulator to the trans

I am not an expert in this area but I don't think it would hurt anything except performance. You could also visit a few different auto parts stores and ask about their help section. That is where you will find assorted T-fittings, ect. The selection varies quite a bit from company to company.
