Cold air intake in Canada...sounds simple eh?
i was looking at putting a cold air intake on my 96 SE Series II 3800 BUT after popping the hood i saw this cover that held what looks like my computer in the way!!?? i want to do the rice pipe option from the civic with a K&N X tream (like many others on this site have) because it gives the extra reach away from the motor providing colder air but it looks like this computer is in the way?? any ideas as to where to put this thing to get my CAI in? And is the rice pipe the best idea, eBay has some for our cars for like $60 US (shipped to my house) that look really good with a K&N filter included? just wondering...

yeah i read through your stuff, good work!
This mod would be much easier if my CPU was in my glove box lol
i may just leave the computer there and cut the tube shorter, will that work??

i should be able to make a custom tray right?? just use thin sheet metal to make a hanging one below my glove box, only problem is getting it over there...there is a ton of wiring coming out...i'd have to extend all of them right? or disconnect them and weave them back through the engine bay?? seems like a lot of work for an after school job eh??

The PCM tray that Intense sells won't work for the '96 Bonnevilles so you'll have to come up with your own solution. Our PCM'* are just a little larger than the 98?+. If you sit the PCM on its side though, you should be able to fit an intake in there without any problems.
