Hum, I think we are forgetting who has the only 2000+ L67 swapped Bonnie SLE here.
Much easier to do the L67 for electrical reasons alone. Make sure that you get the L67 swap kit from Intense that will plug and play your map sensor and BBV. I didn't find this out until I had done the whole thing manually. I used the BBV re-wire out of the kit though. If you get an L67 and tranny you have to know what it came out of. Bonnie tranny electronics are different than any other car running it. Ask me how I know that one....while the engine is out just go straight to a cam. Relatively inexpensive and you will get some pretty dang good HP out of it compared to any other mod. Also get yourself a set of headers right away. Much easier to install with the engine already out.
