Yes twin 2" (flow area = 6.28 in2) are better than one 2 1/2" (flow area = 4.9 in2)

But twin 2 1/2" will be better yet (flow area = 9.8 in2) :P

Should be fine back that far, as you don't need the velocity at that point.

You certainly won't be backing up the sewer plumbing at WOT.

That far back? Shouldn't affect your boost at all. Headers and DP will a little, methinks. But not a cat, resonator, or muffler(*).

One pipe is longer to benefit from resonant tuning. I learned that from Bill.
