And before you say it'* the driver, I drove the 97 myself to it'* PB. The point I'm trying to make without ruffling feathers is that the 92-95 L67'* were intentionally underrated by GM.

Ok so a heavier 96+ L67 bonneville and a 94/95 L67 bonnieville can run around the same time. How does that show that the two motors are the same performance wise? (You did say both in the previous question I asked you.) If anything, it shows that the series 2 motor is better in terms of stock performance. I'm not saying that a 94/95 L67 bonnie can't hang with a 96+. But saying the motors are equal in terms of performance is hard to believe.
I'm not doubting that the sereis 1 L67 was underrated by gm. Many have said the same about the series 2.

There is no appreciable weight difference between 92-99 SSEi'*. Nor much to speak of between them and the L67 SLE'*.
The only REAL difference is WHERE (what RPM) they deliver their power at. All 94/95 SSEi'* and SC/SLE and SC/SSE will run right around the 15'*, but the 94/95 will have better 60' times. 92/93 stock times lag slightly.
We didn't know much of this until this year, but now that we've had so many Series 1.5 cars run this year, it'* very apparent.
On the subject at hand, I believe you see the SC belt being shared by the Alternator. The reason for this is that they probably didn't have room for two belt paths. Think about that.
