Tell us about your exhaust mods
I'd like to know what mods people have done on their Bonnies. Please tell us what you installed, cost and results, i.e. what is the sound like, how much more power does it seem to have.

Flowmaster from or like the Camaro, two pipes and I like the loud sound.
It was installed before I got it but the guy who did it is a friend and he said it was something like 300-400 dollars installed.
TY

50 bucks to install a straight pipe replacing the resonator and installinga new muffler. I went with magnaflow for the camaro but it was tooo loud and a lil bit ricey so i changed my muffler to a dynomax ultraflow SS(cost me 50 to install) . Alot better sound no more popping n crackling. I also have dual BORLA tips( 60 bucks a piece or so) , the magnaflow cost 130 bucks but i sold it to skza for 80+ shipping and the dynomax cost me 130 as well.
if you have a dual outlet muffler stock then stay with the same type but if u have a reg bonny and try and go duals it may llook ghey. JMO mainly because u can see all the pipeing unlike the SSEi where the muff is hidden. dont flame jmo if u wanna see pics check my website Ill have more pics comming at the end of the week.

hey if you're open mindded and like your car, who cares what other people think or say. i think the duals look ok a bonnie, because like someone said before it'* not a tiny little car and they suit it. I had dual exhaust with no muffler but witha resonator and cadalidic converter and i didn't find it that loud at all. loud enough to turn heads but didn't sound like a motor bike, and it was a deep sound too. I have just a regular exhaust on it now because someone hit the back of the car and bent the tipand to fix it they wanted just as much as I paid to put the whole exhaust on.....
here'* a picture you can go see of it

Has anyone noticed an increase in performance and power, or just sound? I'm really more interested in if it increases the power.

When my car was still in good shape and not falling apart, LOL not sure how that happened. Yes when all was good it was a noticeable difference from my friends same car without the exhaust. The real power is noticed once you buy an Angry Duck Racing CAI with a shield and passive ram air installed. Then your pipes and intake are matched giving you the sound and power you are after. It’* all about balance.

Actually if you want REAL power solid rocket boosters used for helping military cargo planes get off the ground on short runways work great. Just make sure you have a legal will and put a video camera in a protected case in the car so we can all see what happens.
I will be offer these on my site too …LOL

I need to replace my system on my 92 SE! Any ideas? I've already cut out the cat though and the muffler has the dual out on the passenger side (muffler has a blown baffle). The LH exhaust manifold is leaking causing my NEW engine miss! Plus GM doesn't use any gaskets on this engine for the exhaust manifolds! :? I want a throatier sound with dual out to BOTH sides (like the SSEi) I've considered bumping the pipe size to 3" too!? :?
