For my (still future) 99 SSEi with the Bose "plate thingy" in that spot, I thought about swapping out the trim piece with the same kind I have now. There'* nothing in the way there is there? I know the older ones have the gain slider of course.

I think it will be quite effective were it is, i cant wait to take it for a test run..in like mid march haha

I have about one full hour in the project, and Im happy with the results..
Yes, I know my battery is weak..charger was on it the entire time
