this may sound dumb.. but why not just get a gtp or the ssei if you really want to get in the 13'*? Unless you really like your se (i would giveup mine in a heartbeat :P)

I like my car too much.

I know its stupid but I just do.

I know how its been treated since 66,000 miles. The previous owner was an old man and his idea of fast was 85. I hit the limiter the first day I had this car. So Im sure old guy didnt abuse it.

I take good care of it, I hope I dont put a curse on my car but other then the ABS light on there isnt any problems. I only drive fast 3% of the time. The rest of the time I go 55(I go to work at 4am so no ones on the road)

I like the GTP and Regal GS. I really do. I even was going to get a firebird but the expectations are too high. Imports have caught up with the STI and EVO so they arent the baddest cars on the road anymore. No one will ever expect the Bonneville to be fast.

I wanna join that elite club of fast Bonnevilles. It isnt as big as Regals and GTP'*. Not even close.

I even think the car looks damn nice. Its also not typical for 23 year olds to drive. Over here its about Civics and 3 series.

1 of the reasons I want a supercharger is to eliminate that concern forever.

Is there some special upper intake that doesnt crack?
Did you know that the HVII blocks the coolant passages at the lower intake manifold?
This means theres no way for the upper intake manifold to fail even if the egr burns a hole to the coolant passages.

13'* are very possible N/A, whether you can do it or not depends on how serious you want to get. ZZP'* GT ran 12.8'* IIRC WITHOUT the stroker. They blew up the stroker (due to another part failing in the engine, not anything related to the stroker parts themselves, IIRC the timing chain tensioner broke causing the timing chain to slip throwing some valves into pistons but I could be wrong) and so they threw in a regular L36 block with all the same heads/cam, etc... that they had on it with the stroker and ran it at MGM and turned 12'* with it. However, you have to personally see these cars to even come close to believing how gutted they are. Yes, their GT is actually a daily driven car like they say it is, Venessa drives the thing around everywhere, but when they get to the track, they pull all the seats out, the carpet, door panels, console, etc... They even pull off the cruise control module (which weighs like 1lb.) and stuff like that, then it gets skinnies and slicks and the whole works. Then at the end of the day they put it all back together and drive it home. Putting the engine from ZZP'* GT in your bonnie MIGHT get you into the 13.9'* or something like that full weight with just basic track prep, but I don't even know that for sure. And think of how modded this engine is...its got basically every mod you can get for the L36 on it, not to mention the torque convertor and gears that go along with it. For the money you would have to spend, its really not worth it IMO. Get forced induction or go home. :P
