Default Finally!!!!!! G-Teched the Regal!!

After a long wait, I finally got to. Remind you, its an L27, has EGR, is completely stock, and it drinks coolant.

My first run was 8.34s 0-60 mph

Second was 8.52s 0-60 mph

And final was 8.21s 0-60 mph.

Im soooo happy!!! Zero mods, and this car runs as fast as a 1995 L36 regal gs!!!

I guess its all in my perfect launch 2500 rpm brake torque, and just lay into it.

After all that, i went and switched the old Delco'* to some TR55 NGK platinum plugs. They run about the same, better mileage already though

By the way, what does Orange fuzzy stuff on the old spark plug mean? Oil, or coolant?

Orange fuzzy stuff? Do you use Dexcool? That would be my only thought.

Dexcool is orange. That is why I asked. I've never seen orange fuzz on spark plugs before. Maybe it'* caused by burnt coolant, I don't know. I wouldn't think it'* oil.

Those times look like the quick side of what they should be, I think. Quicker than a stock 92 SSEi.

My car is N/A, how can It be keeping up with an */c car?

My car only has 170 hp and 225 lb ft.

Although, with me in it, it prob weighs a shade over 3300 lbs

Yours is a few hundred pounds lighter and an SSEi has taller gearing, making for slower acceleration (better gas mileage).
