John, totally respecting your post above, and reinforcing it myself, but adding this:

So it'* NOT your car. It'* your brother'*. I would pose to you that there are some details that may have been lost or misunderstood in the communication.

With that in mind, maybe you could talk to your brother and ask him about more specific information about his car if you'd like to share it with us.
