Looks like I'm gonna get rained out today. www.grovecreek.com says the races are on today, but 99% of MN is getting coated with rain. And the temps are just too perfect - low 50'* F. Would love to pull a 10.1 in the 1/8 (Grove Creek is only 1/8, but they are also the only track open in the tri-state area yet (outside Slippery Falls -which I won't be attending anytime soon).

Rogue and I discussed this last month, and had some ideas, but both of us got busy. I need to clarify some points:
1. For a long time, we resisted the 1/4 page because of the flames it could cause.
2. The 1/4 page we currently have was a trial. It went ok, but still raises some concerns as far as maintenance is concerned.
3. Because it was never officially 'sanctioned' it was never put into the links bar at the top of the page, and was hosted on my personal server rather than the BC server. This was at Jeff Keacher'* request.
4. Because of the 'stickiness' of verification, and the flames that can arise out of that issue, I agreed to take on the responsibility, so that it could be nixed easily when it went sour.
Since it'* gone ok, we'll go at it with a new format if you want, but it must continue to be hosted on my server for the time being, as before. All I need is to have someone (or all of you) decide on the format. Categorized by series? Ranked by ET? Allow Gtech times if verified? Hash all that out in this topic.
THEN we'll get it formatted in such a way that it'* easy to maintain. If it goes ok, I'll probably pass that responsibility on to another member.

G-Techs should be ok as long as it is noted (as the current page shows). I had run a 13.9x at around (can't remember what it was exactly) in my SSEi, but when I mad e it to the 1/8 track my 1/8 mile E.T. calculated to almost a 15.2 (15.1. Given that at the time of the G-tech run I didn't have a vacuum leak causing almost 10* KR like I did at the track, but even still I doubt it would have been 1.3 seconds -more like .4-.6 MAYBE.
I think posting the times should require photo proof of timeslips (something I have to admit I haven't been the best about showing here, but they've all been honest #'*) or G-tech meter at the time of the run.
Any way you guys run it no doubt it is gonna be a very good tool for those of us who are making regular stops at the strips. Will be interesting without a doubt.
I know it will be harder to categorize, but I'd think maybe for starters we probably won't see any BIG (no more than 50 more names to add) surge in the next 6-12 months, mostly just updates from current names therfefore for the time being just have a single page for starters (but then again at the same time it mightr be easier to categorize right off the bat).
My $.02.
