Default `94 Throttle Body on a `93?

There is a `94 SSEi sitting in my junkyard. i have a `93 SSEi. I heard that the `94s have larger Throttle bodies. Would this give me more horsepower? would it even work? i dont care about gas milage. i was thinking of upgrading my pulley, but would this TB be better to get 1st? please tell me your thoughts on this.
p.*.- i have an intake in the mail.

The '94 has different coolant passages and the only fix I've heard is to mix '93 and '94 gaskets together to make it seal. The '94 is larger but won't help you any because your '93 supercharger inlet is smaller so all you'll do is put the bottleneck on it. Unless your ready to port your supercharger inlet or change it to a '94 I'd use the money on other things

You would also need to get a MAF calibrator. Ask Jeffery10x2 about that.

Anybody wishing to do this will have to modify (as Doc said) their existing SC or replace it with a 94/95 M62 (recommended), and as Jeffrey did, also install the mini afc thingy majigger.

This is something that I may consider doing at some point, because it has another benefit. The 92/93 TB'* are no longer available through GM. Only the 94/95. BTW, these suckers now run about $800 new from GM.

well, maybe i'll stop by there today and het a price. basically, what your saying is, if i do this, i will have an engine with the same power output of the 94-95 sc engines with an aftermarket pulley.
what do you think is a good price for the */C, and the Throttle Body? and what else do i need other than the parts already listed?

If you're going to a wrecker, they'll probably hit you for 2 or 3 hundred for the TB. The SC might run you about 500. Just a guess on the SC, but I've priced TB'*, so that should be pretty close.
