after doing more research the series 1 can fit the grand national cam and crank into the block
the way you can use the cam is you need a lg3 timing cover and you have to machine off the oil pump lobe and end gear on the gn cam shaft also you need the cam gear off a lg3 it will fit perfectly.
from what ive looked at the way you use the crank is you have to use the came also its a direct fit into the block you only have to change the cam and timing chain and sprokets which give you a upgrade you can now use the double timing chain for the grand nationals
to sum it with this setup a series 1 3800 can handle 800 hp

Wow, that is quite a list you have going on there. Are you planning on switching over from supercharged to turbo? Are you using the custom grind to change the engine characteristics (less low end, more top end)? How do you plan on keeping the differential together? Do you have any pics of the build?

This is just all research that I'm posting up that I mite be doing in the future but I am building the series 1, I have the forged piston and rods and raised the compression to 9.1. I will be keeping the supercharger for now, and do a regrind on the stock cam for more mid too high range power. I would do more this year but I need too sink money in other places
