Default WSS Wheel Spin Sensor cut off switch

This will totally disable your torque management system on your car, unlike shutting off traction control. This is a track mod.

Start by turning your wheels all the way to the right, you want the rear of the drivers side tire to be out so you can work behind it. You can remove the tire if you wish.

Now if you look behind the tire you will see this wire.

Here'* a little closer look.

This is the WSS or Wheel Spin Sensor. This is the passenger side but is the same on the drivers side. Unplug this.

Now locate the plug in the engine compartment. It'* on the rail below the brake master cylinder. Unplug this and pop the socket from the frame

Undo each of the rubber fittings.

Now remove this wire.

Cut the black wire and splice in some wire to go to your switch. Be sure to solder these connections.

Then tape them up good.

Then put the wire back in, plug in both ends and make sure the rubber fittings are back in place.

Now run your wire to your switch.

After everything is in place, start your engine. Flip your switch, you should get a warning light for traction control and ABS. This will remain on even if you turn the switch back on until you shut the engine off and restart.
