Default Lojack

Can i remove or takeout dealer installed lojack? Please can anyone help me and does any one have a picture of the module?what it looks like and tell me what the key phobs on the key chain are for?

i'm sorry, i don't know. my latest project was a '69 camaro, which is why i can't help with the technical stuff. me and cars (mechanically speaking) parted ways in 1974, and i've kept myself busy with the things that i know instead of keeping current.

i don't know how integrated the system is into your current vehicle. it could be connected to several key systems that would cause catastrophic failure if the box were to be removed. have you tried contacting OnStar? they should be able to at least provide you with the info if the box can be removed or if there is some way to block the GPS from picking you up. that should thwart any attempts to locate you. also, be sure to turn GPS off in your cell phone.
