I have a 2003 Olds Silhouette with the DVD entertainment system. The DVD player would only play some DVDs. Others would just spin and get kicked out. I bought a new DVD unit and replaced it. Now it doesn't play any DVDs. The AUX shows on the radio display. If I turn the ignition off and back on the display screen will go blue and show reading, but nothing happens and then it is kicked out again. The ones that did work would pretty much start right up. Any help would be appreciated.

sounds like a issue a car audio shop might be able to adress

May be some compatibility problem , show it some car audio mechanic or go to DVD shop and discuss your problem with them.
