I am working on a catera which the radio quits intermitt. I traced to the multi function relay which also controls the lights, trunk release & a few other things. For one the part seems to be discontionued. Is there anyone who can tell me where i can find good parts or a description of the low power supply wire to radio. Can i bypass the relay & run it like any other radio with a direct power for memory & ignition power to kill it when need too. Any help is helpfull?

i was under the impression the radio is wired into the main harness and is an extended part of the ECU as well... maybe try your method of jerry rigging the radio, but be sure not to mess around with the old harness connections going To the radio...
