Unhappy Airbag Sensor

My wife drives an Oldsmobile Alero. She bumped another vehicle and the airbags went off. I called a buddy who works at a body shop to find out what all needed to be replaced. he told me that there was a sensor/module in the bumper area that would need to be replaced. i call gm dealership and they don't have a clue what the part is to order it. Does anyone know where the sensor, if there is one, is located so i don't have to tear the whole front end off looking for it. Thanks.

You need to check below the bumper skin. It should be a small black box with maybe 2 screws where it is fastened. It will also have wires going to the harness.
