Allen wrench size for front brake calibers

Changing my front brake pads some time next week on my 1992 SE, and forgot what size allen wrench is used to loosen and tighten the caliber mounting bolts.

I'll probably go out and pick up the allen-type adapter end that fits onto a socket wrench and makes things so much easier (had one but a former friend never returned it), but can't recall what size it was.

they dont use allen wrenches, they use torx T-55, well atlest mine does anyhow.
someone can correct me if I am wrong.

well, my 96 uses a 3/8 allen head--not sure about the earlier ones

I was going to say 3/8 allen head too. I think the bearing mounting bolts are T-50 or T-55.

1997 also uses the 3/8 allen.

You need a T-50 Torx to remove the wheel bearing assembly.

Second that: it's a T-50 (and has been so for some years). You can get a T-50 by itself in the MotorMite "HELP!" line, or just go to Sears, etc...
