thanks. well today i finally had all day to work on it. i got the cam in and the cradle bolted back up. i found the old cam had two very worn lobs. and the oil pump has wron groves in its housing and in the cover, i have a low mile one from a series 3. they seem exactly the same, i will be changing out the whole cover.

thanks

Are these HS roller rockers? And I assume your talking about the pedistal. If so, the dot MUST be facing the spring.

I just checked the service manual and I find no mention of putting the rockers in this way or that way. But going over it in my head you should have one bank facing one way and the other bank facing the other way. All rockers should be the same. So there should be no difference.
