P0122 - TPS voltage low - The PCM sees voltage low in your Throttle Position Sensor, test and/or replace

P0410 - AIR system malfunction - The PCM sees some issue with the Air Injection Reaction system that pushes extra air into the exhaust flow to burn off unburnt fuel and clean up emissions, commonly a bad smog pump or relay that controls it

P0717 - VSS no signal - The PCM sees no or bad signal from the Vehicle Speed Sensor, check wiring, then check and/or replace VSS

The picture with the red circle I believe is indicating the coolant overflow tank. It is a bit grainy but I'm 93% sure this is what it indicates. This wouldn't seem to be related to the issues you listed.

Does the cap on the circled item indicate "DO NOT REMOVE WHEN HOT" AND "WARNING HOT COOLANT" and the like? If yes then I'm 6% more sure of it.

Looks EGR-ish to me. What types of connections does it have? Do you have a side-ish picture of it? Anyone else here know more for sure what it is?

This is an old thread, but since thats a common 2001 issue I thought id point out

Its a secondary air diverter valve and there is 2 of them. The auroras have issues with the pumps down in the front fender area ingesting water, going bad. THen there is a water issue in check valves, there is software issues with 2001 and 2002 3.5 I believe that set the incorrect codes or unrelated codes.

The diverter valves also cant be bought, I dont know the procedure but you can use a cookie sheet thats rubbery(dont know the name) to rebuild them lol. There is information out there. Auroras are unique esp when with a 3.5 but forgive me for the dirty revive I dont even know how I got to this thread.

The last post in this thread is over five years old. Please do not post in threads that have no entries less than six months old. I appreciate the sentiment, but GMForum'* site rules prefer you start a new thread with a link to the old thread to cover this subject. Please refer to https://www.gmforum.com/introduction...-first-304557/ for more details.
