Default coil packs

as you all know i have now changed my wires, plugs, drained the oil, and put in a new air filiter, the only thing i have left to do are change my fuel filter. but i notice my car has a VERY rough idle. lots of pulsating.. a friend of mine had suggested to change my coil packs. could this be the problem of my rough idling? and any other suggestions would really help.

Hop up to Techinfo and test the coil packs per the instructions. If not..I think you are a type 1 system and could consider swapping over for a better spark.

The two most common contributors to rough idle are ignition or IAC/TB issues.

Following Techinfo should rule out/fix both issues.
