Fantastic I'm not sure ho long you could go...
I do want to see some reccomendations from the others on this issue... Some may reccome some marvel mystery oil to see if that helps...
How many miles do you have on the car?
Just drop it off and I'll tuck the lifters in there for you... It will take me at least a week, and make sure it has a full tank...
It still does sound like a lifter that is bleeding down, and in the morning is almost dry... when they bleed down it takes a bit for them to get filled with oil again... Don't beat on it and you may be ok for a little while

Damn. This ain't good. I have very little knowhow on doing things like that + little time during my buisy work season. It took 4 hrs just to get all the hoses and wireing harness off to get to the rear valve covors w/ people that know what they are doing. Too bad you don't live nearby jr3800 i'd take you up on you're offer. Forgot to mention miles. Only 126K.

Its hard to say that the lifter is the problem, but judging by the video and your description it seems like lifter leakdown...
Where are you located?
Ok Lakeville... Anyone near you?

LavevilleSSEi- buisy man. Sanomazr2 (Travis) and Smellbird (Seth) and SSEi95 (Gordy) are the most knowlageable around these parts. Seth and Travis put my rockers on at the March 4th meet. I don't know if they'd wanna go through that again. I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask.
BTW- I am loosing coolant, but not on the ground.

And in a quick way pull the dipstick and check the oil to see if its has thinned out in any manner... If it is as thin as water change it quick...

Ever since last year it drains to the bottom of the resivore every 4-6 months. The oil is still good looking. As far as the knocking goes I filled up the tank yesterday and the knocking is completely gone. Not even a hint that it has ever happend. Seems like I just might of put in bad gas last Saturday? Deffinitly a releif. However, after reading the collant loss threads I should still look into the LIM.
