1992 88 valve cover gaskets, help?
So, my VCG are bleeding oil all over everything. Bummer.
Got VCG set. Yay, cheap!
Replaced front VCG. Super easy, took about 20 minutes.
Rear VCG. Help?
Cursed a lot, but got the mounting bracket off. All 6 bolts on the VCG are loose. But it won't slide out. Looks like the power steering and/or some wire loom is holding it in. The top passenger side is rather firmly wedged in place.
I'm stumped. How do I get the rear valve cover off? Please tell me I don't have to take off the power steering and serpentine belt just to get the bloody thing out.

I did my valve cover gaskets when I tore down for the LIM job. I do remember a wire loom being annoying, but we were able to get enough slack in it that we could slide the valve cover out once it cleared the rockers. I don't even think we had to touch the power steering pump even during the LIM job.
