I agree with you on that, the front springs are on the dangerous side to remove. I learned that the hard way on my last Oldsmobile when I was replacing the struts, the spring compressor broke and man I never knew I could move so fast when that happened. So know on me Achieva I am going to spend the extra money and but ready mounts.

I haven't gotten under the Bonneville to look yet, but the 88 has the springs and struts mounted separately. I'm assuming the Bonneville is the same, so hopefully I won't be cheating death since they aren't coilovers struts.

Check the internet site ( GM Parts Search ) Use Part #25535044. Upper and lower Insulators are the same. They have them for between $17.00 & $18.00 Each

Sorry about this. I ordered these from them yesterday. Today I received an e-mail from them stating that they were sorry but they are not available anywhere.
