Diff btw 89 H and C body
What'* the difference between an 89 h body and C body? I'm driving my grandma'* car while mine is in the shop. I thought it was an H, cause everything is so similar to my parents' old 89 Bonneville. I just checked the VIN and it is indeed a C.

Well unless it'* an Olds 98 or Buick Park Avenue you can rest assured you're driving an "H" Body. I think VIN C refers to the 3800 Engine.

Many things are swappable though. I used a steering column out of a '90 PA and put it in my '87, fit just fine. I think it was mostly just the increased wheelbase and things like that.
