Default 440T4 transmission

I have a 1990 440T4 trans and a 1989 440T4 trans. Both trans have different style plugins that go to the pressure switches and the solenoid.(forgot what the plugin was called)
the 1989 has 4 wires, two wires going to the solenoid and one wire to a pressure switch and one wire going to another pressure switch.
on the 1990 has 5 wires, two wires going to the solenoid and the other three wires are going to separate pressure switches. So here is what i want to do, take the 1990 trans and replace a 1989 trans but i have this extra wire that goes to a extra pressure switch in the 1990 trans but only have a 4 wire pig tale in my 1989 cutlas ciera. Do i swap valve bodies or just leave the valve body on the 1990 trans and just leave one of the pressure switches unplugged?
