I decided to install some mtx 6.5 drivers in the front doors, that I got on sale from future shop for 1/3 the regular price.

Installed the speakers and they do sound better. Started putting the tools away and closed the door. I noticed the door locked when closed. Little odd I thought. tried opening the lock through the window. I allways leave the window enough to unlock the door in case I forget the keys in the ignition, and accidentley hit the door switch. Well it seems the actuator does not engage the lock mechanisim. The rest of the doors work fine. I looked between the skin and the the door it seems like there is a link with a yellow cap on the end (I'm assuming the lock linkage) and there looks to be a slot on the actual lock ****. I'm assuming the yellow end has to fit in the slot. Problem is I cant get the thing to get in the slot. Anybody have any ideas to line up the nescessary linkage. Everything seems to work if you push the lockbutton...first time it dings...second time, you can hear it mechanically move.
