Default windows quit working

On my daughters 93 cutlass all 4 windows just quit working. The circuit breaker is good. There is power to, and through all switches on drivers door. I pulled the panel off a back door that the window is down and even rigged a ground jumper. I pulled the plug of the motor and have power there. The door locks work so I don't think it is a grounding problem. I find it really hard to believe that all 4 window motors went out at the same time. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks, Mike

If you have power at the motor switch, and you found the power using a jumper from another ground, then your window ground system is faulty somewhere. I wonder if the Cutlass uses the same type of grounding system as our Bonnevilles??
If you can, see if you have a ground bus like what'* shown here in this article.

I didn't find a ground bus like my Bonnie has.
When testing the plug on the motor I used the motor case for ground.
I clamped a wire to the case and to the door hinge just to make sure it was well grounded and still nothing.
I still can't believe all 4 motors went at the same time. This is DRIVING ME NUTS.

I have seen this before on a car I was working on it was a broken wire going to the drivers door in the door jam in the rubber boot that connects to the car and the door. Try peeling the boot back and inspecting the wires for breaks they get brittle and break over time from them bending from opening and closing the door
